Hands down the best hospitality we have ever experienced. Maki is the most gracious of any host we have ever had. Excellent food (lots of it). This accommodation is worth planning an entire trip around. 2 private onsens. A massage chair. It was our first time with a traditional Japanese futon and we were surprised how comfortable sleeping was. Beautiful scenery and the most hospitable hosts (Maki, her mom the chef and Kenta the house pup) Thank you for an unforgettable stay! We can’t wait to come back again someday.

The staff were amazing and we loved the little visit from The manager during dinner letting us know about the weather for the next day, it was very thoughtful. The meals they provided were delicious and very filling. One of the staff even polished our shoes. They truly go the extra mile. Incredible. We would highly recommend this place to stay and we would love to come back here.

We were really taken aback by how sumptuous the spread for both dinner and breakfast was. Loved that they used as much of the regional produce in their meals. The three private onsens were great - good and organized system and the space was kept very clean. Staff were really pleasant and great! They also provided complimentary access to the public next door which was a nice touch to the overall experience.
