The rooms were spacious and clean and the view is amazing. We used the spa which was lovely and the pool and onsen are relaxing.

Beautiful restored traditional Japanese home. Spacious, clean and well furnished. The small garden was wonderful as was the delightful welcome we received. Right in the centre of Shimabara and close to all the sights. The town doesn’t appear on many of the tourist sites but is well worth seeking out as a more traditional Japanese town. We even managed to find a great little local place to eat and navigate the menu in Japanese! Fabulous stay, perfect little home and wished we could have stayed longer.

This is an outstanding unique property if you like hot thermal spas. While I am not a fan of public bathing I found some hours when no one was there and I snuck in. What a luxury!!!! For next year I am getting suite with the private hot thermal spa so I don’t have to worry about the privacy. That having been said this place is six stars the service the food the Japanese ambiance and the entire experience is complete. I am an international traveler and I go to high end places only. This place was an amazing surprise in the middle of Unzen. I highly highly recommend it

Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan features a 1,650-square-meter Japanese garden, natural hot spring baths, free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar, cafe, souvenir shop and an exclusive lounge for... Spacious table-seating in the dining room, all tables having a view of the garden (really a park-like setting) and a menu that deserves an international rating at the highest levels, and that applies to both dinner (the landscape outside the glass wall is softly illuminated) and breakfast that offers Western coffee selections and the best of Japanese tea. We booked two nights and we were delightfully surprised to find that both the dinner and breakfast menus were varied. The wait staff and chefs paced the meal to our habits, and as English-speaking guests we never were challenged in communications.

At Unzen Fukudaya, guests can enjoy public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and relaxing massages. Free wired internet is provided in all rooms, while the lobby provides free Wi-Fi. Spacious room with two bathrooms. Amazing Onsen experience and Kaiseki meals. Helpful staff.

Located in Sasebo, just a minute's walk from the entrance of Huis Ten Bosch, Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch features air-conditioned rooms and private parking. The staff is helpful and polite. We love the cruise which brings guests to and from Huis Ten Bosch. The room was tidied up neatly. We can get our daily necessities and do shopping easily as there are a convenience store, a restaurant, a souvenir shop and a bakery attached to the hotel.

Renovated in April 2018, i + Land Nagasaki is 18.5 km or a 40-minute drive from Nagasaki Station. A hot spring bath, sauna, garden and kids area are available for guests. What a perfect little slice of outdoor heaven in Nagasaki! From the moment we arrived, staff was nothing but over-the-top helpful. They bent over backward for the entirety of our stay to make sure our family was comfortable and felt taken care of - from hand-delivering towels, calling us transit, even packaging up a special breakfast treat for our daughter to-go. The property was very well-maintained, with the bikes and play area being huge draws for our young family. The Arkland Spa was a great place to play in the water (the water temperature was excellent, even during winter) and we truly loved the Island Lumina experience. We enjoyed western breakfast at The Terrace very much and would recommend it over the Japanese option for both breakfast and dinner.
