The place is clean and nice, with full of Japanese onsen vibe. What I really like was the pace of food they prepare and serve. Never rush, or late, just good in a timely manner. Free beer in the lobby and onsen eggs outside the entrance. The footbath on the roof is always awesome. The onsens are great (including the in-room onsen). The room itself is excellent. The staff is exceptional. It was our second time visiting this ryokan and as we were leaving, one of the staff members said she recognized us from last year because we were in the lobby drinking beer again, so that gave us a good laugh!

Here is a polished and natural version of your review: Very nice family-run small hotel. Extremely clean, spacious Japanese-style tatami rooms with a balcony. The two large onsens can be used privately, which is a great bonus. Even though it’s a bit far from the center, it’s highly recommended.
