It's a perfect day trip from Osaka.

All rooms have traditional shared bathing facilities; Superior rooms include a private toilet. Whole experience of staying at the luxurious suite with private onsen was amazing. It really felt like we had our own garden and river which was running nearby. That created a nice sense of calm opposing the big city noise that we were used to. We had the wagyu dinner course and it was delicious. They brought so much food, that two of us couldn't eat it all. Breakfast was also hearty.

Hotel Kanade Kanku Kaizuka offers a hot spring bath. We paid £33 for 2 rooms. Incredible value. The bathroom had lots of different toiletries. The bed was really comfortable. The staff were excellent and let us leave our luggage there the next day. The location was right next to the train station which was excellent for us.
