Featuring a large Japanese garden and natural hot-spring baths, Nanten-En Ryokan offers traditional luxury in a beautiful natural setting. This is one of the best places I've stayed in Japan. Its situated in a quiet region, really close to the train station. Its a good option if you want to wind down a bit. The amenities, service and included meal were amazing. There are a few things to do in the surrounding area, but if you want a bit more, you can just take a train to Osaka (these come at an approx. 20 mins interval). I would definitely chose it again for the next trip.

Set in Osaka, 深層水温泉 大阪逸の彩ホテル日本橋 features free bikes and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around a 3-minute walk from Tsutenkaku and 300 metres from Shinsekai. Nice clean and well equipped hotel. They organised a lot of activities and offered free drinks, ramen and ice cream. We really looked forward to coming back at the end of the day to relax in the onsen too!
