This was our fourth trip to Japan and we've stayed in many ryokans. This is one of our favorites. The space we stayed at was huge. It was a two-story stand alone building. The seats looked out onto the courtyard with a pond and a lot of trees, which was very peaceful. I'm usually not the type to stay in my hotel/ryokan all day, but this place tempted me to do so due to the serenity of the courtyard. There were two private onsen that were easy to access due to the small number of guests that stay here. The food was fabulous. While walking around one morning I found a hiking trail that led up to castle ruins. The next morning I hiked up to the ruins and down the other side and came out near the Moss Land.

A cerca de 24 km de Lago Shinji e a 27 km de Museu Memorial de Lafcadio Hearn, Saginoyusou fornece quartos em Yasugi. My first 10 rating. Our room was fantastic, with a large sitting area, separate sleeping area with comfortable beds and private outdoor onsen. Staff were uniformly friendly, helpful and polite. Our meals were excellent and very filling. Each large window in our room looked out on different areas of an impeccably designed garden. We are already planning our next visit.

Dormy Inn Izumo é um alojamento de 3 estrelas situado em Izumo, a 6 km de Masakigaoka Park e a 6,1 km de Hamayama Park. O estacionamento privado pode ser providenciado por um custo extra. Dormy inn has always been my 1st choice while traveling in Japan. Great breakfast.

Yutorelo Tsuwano encontra-se em Tsuwano, a 19 minutos a pé de Santuário Taikodani Inari-jinja, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço.... Fantastic hotel in a lovely little town. Both the hotel, and Tsuwano itself, exceeded all expectations. I travel around slightly-off-the-beaten-track spots like this in Japan a lot and try to find charming little ryokans or minshukus that are value for money. Don't think I've ever found a better one than this. From the entrance it is clear you're entering a place that's punching above its weight. It looks much nicer than you'd expect for the price. Turned up early and the friendly staff were more than happy to let me check in early and make use of the facilities which include a very nice little rooftop bath (rotenburo) and - remarkably - free drinks, including whiskey and shochu, in the little area on the ground floor from 5pm. The hotel place was spotless (it looks very new) and the Japanese-style breakfast was very nice indeed. I'l definitely visit Tsuwano again one day, and I'll definitely stay here.

WATOWA situa-se em Yunotu, a 12 km de Nima Sand Museum e a 19 km de Iwami Ginzan World Heritage Centre. Fantastic location. The futons were comfortable and the room was perfect for 4 people. Stairs are quite steep but it didn’t bother us, although it might be difficult for elderly or people with mobility issues. We loved our stay at Watowa and we would love to e to stay again when we’re next in Yunotsu.
