River Retreat Garaku offers luxurious modern rooms and suites for a peaceful getaway on Jinzu River. Food: The Japanese style breakfast and French dinner were both exquisite. Room: Fabulous view of the river from the room. Clean, cosy and you can find many little things that show the thought put into the design. For example, there is a small sliding window between the bedroom and the bathroom that you can open and close. Spa: The experience was so pampering and relaxing, I fell into deep sleep and woke up feeling incredibly refreshed.

Open from June 2016, Toyama Onyado Nono boasts hot spring baths and is located in the heart of Toyama City, a 15-minute walk from JR Toyama Station. It features free WiFi and a restaurant. We were very lucky and got upgraded from a standard double room to a room with two single beds, arigato once again! :) Everything else was excellent as well: your own little onsen bathtub in the room, shared onsen with ice cream and massage chairs and a very delicious breakfast. You could even get ramen for free at 21:30 but we haven't tried it as such timing was too late for us. Hotel is also very close to the main attractions of the city.

Location is good, not far from Toyama station, even by bus or by feet. It's worth to have hotspring for relaxing, especially if you have all day fun around Toyama. breakfast is beyond my expectations, a lot of options you can choose. And all of them are delicious. I have a very good time staying there. good job.

Absolutely amazing hotel, good food and great onsen. They will bus you to and from the hotel at no extra cost. Great stay before taking the tateyama alpine route. Staff are very kind and helpful.

Only a 3-minute walk from Unazuki Onsen Train Station, Kurobe Unazukionsen Yamanoha offers Japanese and Western-style accommodations with a flat-screen TV. Staff was wonderful, polite. Even one young man who was originally from Taiwan could speak some English and was very helpful. The food was excellent and plenty of variety. Plan to return.
