What a cool place! There were so many opportunities to taste the beer that was brewed locally on-site. From the drinks bar at check-in to the tasting room open all day to the all-you-can-drink plan at dinner, the hotel was really quite generous with their liquid offerings. Even non-drinkers are accommodated with plenty of alcohol-free options. We also liked that they had multiple private baths on site. The main onsen were also quite nice. The food was fantastic and the beef served at dinner was some of the best I've had.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. it is very new, and cozy. Great location and staff is very good.

Guests at Hayamakan can enjoy traditional multi-course meals and relax in the indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths. The hotel picked us up at the JR station in town. The hotel staff are very helpful. The room was great, our semi-outdoor bath looked out into a little garden. They had a small outdoor onsen, perfect for a cold winter evening. Our set breakfast and dinner were fantastic, as we had a private dining room. The complimentary drinks were a nice welcome for a cold wet day.

The room was nicely refurbished. Private osen can be rented at a very reasonable price. The public osen was beautiful. Meals were absolutely delicious. Exceptional service. Staff were very friendly and professional.
