Located on a hilltop and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, the hotel serves French dinner with an advance reservation. We absolutely loved our stay at Mizno hotel. The views from the hotel and from our room of Fuji were amazing. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and also really enjoyed the breakfast during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the free bike hire (which were electric) to cycle around the lake.

It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. The whole onsen experience was amazing. From the reception to being introduced to the room. We had yukata's (traditional home garments). Our private onsen was great. The room was beautiful, The futon bed super comfy. The food was OMG.... literally Michelin star (and I've bee at Michelin star restaurants). Staff was extremely helpful and assisted us booking travel to any place around. The location was great to just take a stroll and discover the Kawaguchi lake.

Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. We had an exceptional stay at Konohanakan! The staff are brilliant and very attentive; we felt very well taken care of during our entire stay. The language barrier is no issue as we were able to communicate easily using Google translate when needed. The entire apartment is sparkling clean and beautifully presented with great amenities. The view of Mt. Fuji is breathtaking and the private onsen was very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. We visited Oshino Hakkai (the "Eight Seas of Oshino") in the local area which is well worth a visit. It is only about a 20 minute walk from the ryokan. We had dinner and breakfast included in our stay which was a huge highlight for us! The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. Everything about our stay was impressive, and we can't wait to come back.
