A lovely hostel with hotel category services. We stayed in a 4 bed room and the beds were comfortable. We also reserved dinner (closed menu), where the host (Jürg) welcomed his guests and introduced the menu. Communication with Jürg was efficient and quick too. The dining room was cosy and we enjoyed the interaction with the other guests, and Jürg will come up and check if everything was alright. We happened to chance upon this place as we were doing the Zermatt-Chur route, and this was centrally located for a overnight stay before we took the first regional train over the Oberalppass.

The Guesthouse zum Turm is in a great position to reach Andermatt in a few minutes by Bus (which is free of charge). The bus stop is located a few steps away from the guesthouse's door! The owners are super friendly, the breakfast was more than enough with cheese and salami, Nutella, nuts, dried fruits, yogurt and bread! The room was pretty small but it had everything one needs! The Guesthouse was in general extremely clean and well kept! Maybe the walls are a bit too thin and one can hear easily! I am very sensitive to that, but I must say, I was there for three nights and I've heard nothing from neighbors rooms!
