I loved everything about AYCA La Flora Boutique Hotel.My room was very spacious and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent....Breakfast each morning was amazing-a great variety of food was served and this was more than enough to set me up for the day....Location was perfect-a short walk to Plaza Sotomayor...I loved the personal touches in the room-free water flask,etc. . .The staff really made my stay enjoyable.I want to thank my hosts Ann and Alex especially but also Jonathan,Benjamin and Baz....This is a delightful place to stay-affordable,convenient and very welcoming...Top marks....10 out of 10.

Great location and very helpful recommending restaurants, etc. We loved breakfast on the terrace, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and watching the fireworks from there on New Year's Eve. Also loved the historic character of the hotel. The room was small but comfortable and everything we needed. (I wrote a previous review based on a different place. So sorry!)

We loved our stay at Hotel Faro Azul. Even before our arrival, Carolina, the host, contacted us via WhatsApp, which is very reassuring if you have any questions. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, impeccably clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful terrace, and a gorgeous garden. The breakfasts, carefully prepared by Carolina or another hotel staff member, are excellent. Carolina, even though she does not live on-site, is very present at the hotel and always available: when she isn’t there, she responds very quickly to messages. We spent 5 days here and truly felt at home thanks to all her attentions. The accommodation is ideally located, just a 15-minute walk from Valparaíso’s most beautiful tourist areas. It also offers a secure parking space, which is very convenient. The room is bright and heated, and the bathroom is superb. We also had the chance to enjoy a couple’s massage with two professionals in a spa room next to the house, which was an incredible and relaxing experience. We hope to return one day. My husband and I could not be more grateful for the staff here at Hostal Tunquelen. They were so kind and friendly and went out of their way beyond our expectations to help us when we needed it. We felt like family staying here! The location was also a walking distance within the Valparaiso bus terminal, the beach, stations and buses and shops/market. Prime spot when staying at Valparaiso and the windows had a good view of the city.

The building has been really well restored, and is in a great part of town - walking distance to many bars and restaurants, and felt very safe. Secure parking was a major bonus, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked an ocean-view room and it was worth the little extra $$. Got a corner room, with amazing view to the harbor. Room was comfy, and bed was nice and soft, however, every movement by my partner moved the entire bed. The little restaurant in the hotel was great and we enjoyed both lunch and breakfast there. Location was great and hotel had underground free parking, which was a nice bonus.
