Villa Lucy is a lovely hotel that has wide balconies overlooking a large garden with old trees and many birds. At the main road you can find grocery stores and restaurants (try the trucker restaurant at the petrol station, it looks rough but serves excellent food). We used the hotel as a base to visit the Chicamocha Cañon.

Enjoyed my stay at the hostel. Room came with a comfortable bed and had shelving to put my things. Big shower with hot water. A rather simple hostel in terms of facilities, but had a nice common area and drinks, etc are available for purchase. The owners were very knowledgeable about buses, activities etc although I did none as I suffered from the worst case of food poisoning in my life while there (they were supportive of me during it). Everything kept very clean. Neighborhood is safe and close to the central square. A bit limited neighborhood if you like to not always eat Colombian food (the opposite side of the square offers more options) although I highly recommend Terramonti House around the corner for gourmet international cuisine at reasonable prices. Wifi was lightning fast though it did not always get along with my Chromebook Internet card (not their fault),

Beautiful location up in the hills surrounded by the coffee farm. It's a little bit out of town but Jane organised a taxi for me so easy to get to. As a solo traveller loved the family dinners to meet other people and eat yummy food. Overall felt very spoilt by Jane and Felipe, I felt really at home which is something you don't always get when travelling. They organised activities for me and we did a lovely walk to Curiti to visit the pools. I didn't want to leave and hope to be back. Totally recommend!

Friendly staff, who helped us with everything we needed. Amazing quiet place in the middle of the nature with a beautiful garden with many birds and a nice swimming pool. They offer a Turkish steam bath service, which was really relaxing. The garden offers many places to relax. Many restaurants in San Gil have a delivery service to this hostel. The surrounding is great for walking and birdwatching. We had a private kitchen next to our room. The hotel dog is the sweetest dog ever!
