We would definitively recommend this place. They exceeded our expectaions. The room was beautiful, large with a minimalist interior, well furnished and very very clean. Also, Caroline the girl on the reception was amazing, very nice and highly proactive, she supported us with all our requests. The place is amazing! We felt very relaxed in the jungle house. You can cook easy meals in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy them at the veranda. We had the pool mostly to ourselves. Nadia was very helpful and responsive.

Stunning hotel, great attention to detail with every aspect well thought through. Plenty of storage space in the rooms, gorgeous pool area, easy location shirt tuk tuk away from town but the thing that really made it was the lovely staff, everyone is extremely accomodating and happy to help. Special mention to the bartenders Yibran and Fabricio who were excellent. Also the owner Tim was lovely and made sure everyone was well looked after. Thankyou!

We stayed at La Prometida in Puerto Viejo for three wonderful nights last week. We were absolutely impressed by both the accommodation and the hospitality of Selva. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail: from the fresh coffee delivered to our door every morning (complete with adorable heart-shaped chocolates on Valentine's Day - a lovely touch!), to the stunning Ibiza-style interior of the villas themselves. This stay will definitely remain one of the highlights of our 15-day holiday. In short, a true paradise tucked away in a quiet side street of the breathtaking Playa Negra. An absolute must!
