Maria and Osvaldo and their children are amazing hosts, they are very welcoming and available to answer questions and share their life and culture. The took time to show me around and my stay was truly enriched thanks to them. You really feel at home.

The installations are brand new and European standard. Fernanda and her daughter gave us a warm welcome and were extremely help full . We like the little hub where she made a local tasty breakfast for us. A very autntical stay.

Super modern apartment with an astonishing view. The sun rises right over the ocean every morning, you can see it from the bed :) Can NOT confirm the negative reviews about the kitchen, our apartment had everything you need for (simple) cooking. The host is very friendly and helpful (best if you speak french :) the village is very small and mainly focused on the beach, which makes it cosy and quiet. Highly recommend!

A nice view from a spacious balcony, beautiful interior and gorgeous paintings on the wall. It was fascinating to stay here for one night in our trip through the island. Apart of that, we got the receipt and tasting of craft grog drink which is so good.

Authentic village life at its best! Tugged away from the rest of the world, Ja opened a room of her ancestor's home to guests who would like to experience what it's like to live in Cape Verdian raw country side - which includes being offline, taking cold showers with a bucket and a mug, sleeping in pin drop silence (apart from the roosters), walking in the steep hills, etc. One can go with a shared taxi until the roundabout of Sao Domingos. From there, a local can come and pick you up for 300 ESC, or you can walk (it's absolutely safe, the locals are friendly and helpful, location on the map is accurate). They can also drop you to the airport for 1500 ESC, and it just takes 30mins to reach. Ja knows how to cook for vegetarians, too. She is a witty and interesting host to talk to. I am still amazed at the purity and simplicity of this place, and hope to be back one day.

This was a very comfortable accommodation situated in a picturesque location. The place is big and the view from the terrace is superb. We stayed for 5 nights and felt much at ease. Communication with the host was perfect, and they were very helpful and accommodating. If you have a car you can get from here to many of the island's hiking spots quite quickly. We'd certainly stay here again.
