Honestly, our stay in Bungalows Elma exceeded our expectations. We travelled with our two young children, and there was a travel cot, matress, and all the bed sheets there for us when we arrived for the baby (without even requesting it!). The owners were so welcoming, and the bungalow was perfect for staying with our young family. A huge bonus was a playground on the property, lots of space to run around, and some cows and sheep right next door! There was a full working kitchen which was very convenient, as well as little details like a hair dryer and extra towels. It was also warm and cosy.

We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.

The cleanliness of the room was outstanding (the best I have ever experienced, anywhere) and it was also cleaned daily to the same really high standard. It had everything we needed and we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Nothing was too much trouble and we were literally looked after as if we were in a 5* hotel. The bed was also extremely comfortable and having the mini fridge and tea making facility was a real bonus for us. It was a pleasure to come 'home' at the end of the day and be cocooned in comfort before setting off again in the morning. We would definitely like to return and explore the area further, such a beautiful part of the world. Also, being able to park outside made everything very easy and convenient, especially as my husband couldn't walk too far. Thank you for your genuine care and attention to our needs, it has been a real pleasure and a bonus to have met you.

It's a stunning historic building, great parking, spacious spotlessly clean room, the restaurant area is beautiful, shame it wasn't open in the evening, but it is very low season. There was a super spread for breakfast in the morning served in the restaurant. Very close to the airport for the next day, but lovely quiet rural location. Staff were very welcoming & helpful.

Beautiful historic building with very friendly staff. Interior was just top quality, particularly noticed the marble tiled shower tray. Vehicle parking was very easy and the whole place felt very friendly and secure, loved it !!!

Very characterful, very clean, beautiful rooms and dining area, lovely location with safe parking in courtyard! The food was exceptionally good but a little more pricey. The receptionist (Helen) who was also the waitress at dinner was the best ever and did everything possible to make our stay exceptional!

Helene welcomed us to the hotel and attended to our check-in. She was very friendly and engaging with a lovely manner. We were also pleased that we could park the car for free at the hotel, which allowed for an early morning getaway. The restaurant looked inviting but we had already eaten prior to checking in.
