What a gem of a place! The hotel looked very traditional and ordinary from the outside, but the bedroom was very modern, a good size with really comfortable beds and a lovely big en-suite shower room. There is a lift to the upper floors. We were welcomed warmly in Spanish as we don't speak Basque, and the lady (manager? owner?) only had a few words of English. We decided to eat at their restaurant, and were greeted by name by the chef/owner, and the waiter was excellent, very friendly and pacient, even though the restaurant was quite busy. A first for us: we could choose our own time for breakfast which was served in the bar. What a lovely experience in a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Everything - the location, the hosts, the cleanliness, the comfort of the bed, the well-attained furniture, the fresh smell of the room, the bed linens. The host even surprised us with a very tasty breakfast every morning, with fruit, yoghurt, milk, pastry. We were also given travel tips for the locations to visit. We could communicate in English very well. And the view from the room every morning was cherry on top. ♥️

It was a great comfortable stay at the hotel. Great staff at the reception and very helpful with all inquiries. The room was super comfy with all amenities that one might need. I also liked the swimming pool BUT I would have liked to have umbrellas for shade and for the pool to be open after 8 pm (it was light until at least 9/10 pm). Also, loved the restaurant Alea they have in the hotel, so delicious!

Lovely stylish hotel in a nice location. Staff are very friendly and efficient. We had also a nice dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Parking can be easily found on the road or in the close by underground parking.

Clean, unpretentious, with all basic facilities, a good breakfast, in a very pleasant location, with parking nearby, and excellent value for money compared to San Sebastian, where we had considered staying originally . We will definitely consider staying here again on our journeys into Spain.

We got a room with an amazing view for one night only... would stay longer if we could. The mattress was very comfortable, room and bathroom good size, and very quiet. Also we had free parking just in front of the hotel. There is breakfast available in the hotel for a good value for money. Staff was really helpful and recommended a very good and pleasant place to eat local food.
