This place is absolutely super. First of all it is located very near to the starting point of your camino. When arriving you will receive a warm welcome by Laurie. She is feeling yourself at home immediately, making your start of the Camino memorable. She is open for a chat with a cup of tea to have some fun. Some years ago, She and her husband moved from busy London to medieval saint jean pied the port. The complete house is renovated and made luxurious. This place is the last change on the Camino to have quiet place to sleep.

My husband and I appreciate the warm hospitality extended to us during our 2 nights stay. We enjoyed staying in the big, neat, clean and beautiful room overlooking the hills. Breakfast is always a pleasant surprise from the hosts, Christian and Genevieve. They went out of their way to help us make alternative transport arrangements when our scheduled train booking to Bayonne was cancelled at the last minute due to a local social movement. They even volunteered to personally send us to Bayonne if all other alternative transport arrangements fall through, notwithstanding their busy schedule. Our heartfelt thanks for their graciousness and generosity.
