    Situated in rural area, serving pub food. Reasonable choices. Booking in was easy and room displayed on arrival by bar host. Parking at rear was a little limited. Room was pleasant, good drinks choice in room. Coffee/tea etc.

    Breakfast was perfect. There was a choice of different things so suited our whole party. The staff were absolutely spot on - it instantly felt like our local rather than just a ‘country pub’. So friendly. The drinks bill was even allocated to the relevant room without having to ask! The room was quiet at night even though it was on the main roads through. Lovely oldy worldy feel to the whole place. Plenty of parking round the back. Felt safe (and we’ll looked after) the whole time we were there.
