A wonderful destination for your time in Kirkwall. We explored the island for 3 days an spent two nights in the royal,oak guesthouse. Everything was prepared in a perfect way, a nice and new build room with all details for a comfortable stay, nearby to the city and in walking distance to Highland Park destillery. we enjoyed the light options for the night and the bathroom, this is as you like it at home. a nice breakfast, fresh fruit, tea and coffee as we prefer it, we enjoyed our whole stay very much, Thank you

The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable with everything you needed. The deck was great for sitting out and having dinner and taking in the fantastic views of the countryside! Located right at the ferry wharf it was interesting to watch the activity around the wharf. It was a nice place to wander around Stromness and Stromness was a great base for the island. We arrived to a warm inviting place on a very cold day, the lights and heating had been left on for us. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. Off-street parking.
