Thank you to the entire team at Hotel Materra who always had a smile for me! My stay was simply fabulous from the moment I stepped in until my departure after 4 days. What a good surprise this place was, somewhat of a hidden gem in the countryside of Osijek! The hotel was designed by a local Architect with so much style and attention to the details that it's hard not to fall in love with the place. You have to experience it yourself to understand. I loved wandering around and sit in various places during my stay and I could not get bored of it. I am a well traveled person staying in fancy hotels around the world. I can easily say that the facilities of this place are 5 stars and with the best quality equipments (bedroom, bathrom, gym, spa, pool, sitting areas, BEST coffee and super stylish decoration). The owner has achieved a master piece and I can't wait to see the future developments around the hotel which will certainly turn this hotel into a destination on its own! Congratulations!!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well-maintained. I stayed in a room with a jacuzzi, which was an amazing experience – so relaxing and luxurious. The beds were incredibly comfortable – I slept like a baby every night. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The location makes it very easy to get into the city centre on foot as well as to drive out of the city via the motorway network. It has excellent, state of the art kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Impeccably clean. Set back from the road so traffic can't be heard at all. There is a covered outdoor seating area for summer evenings. Insect screens in all windows. There simply wasn't anything we could possibly think of that could be seen as missing or faulty. The value we received for money in May 2025 was excellent.

A nice place for a transit overnight stay. Clean, very friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pool, beautifully lit in the evening. The breakfast is tasty, there is a lot to choose from, but it is worth adding something hot and something sweet (e.g. croissants, cake) and more vegetables. Large parking lot, central location, about 6 minutes to the Anticathedral. I recommend.

Looks better than on pictures. Perfect for one night stay on the way. I will recommend IT and if on this route again I will definatelly stay in this apartment. Free Parking in front of the building, apartament on the ground floor. Easy Access and great contact with Mel.

Extremely reasonably priced so we were very positively surprised. Location was close to the centre yet very quiet, the unit was very adequate for our needs and the hospital of the husband, wife and their son was excellent. They also organised free parking for our vehicle.

Breakfast, free parking space, 15 mins walk of city centre. There are private parking spaces in front of the entrance, free of charge and with cameras. The breakfast was served in a space at the ground level, much cleaner and new fitted. It had enough food and was good enough, with eggs, sausages, ham, sweets, juices and good coffee, made by the owner.
