It is about 8 miles from a town but there are amenities about 1 mile away. There are 3 rooms to relax in with plenty of seating. Particularly liked the rear room which is glass to 2 sides and looks onto a forest. Dining tables in the kitchen and extension room at the back make great alternatives. The owners made sure we were settled and happy and brought freshly made cakes which were delicious 😋

We liked the hospitality and kind ess of Catherine. She cooks so well and her bedrooms are very well cleaned and decorated. Beds are so comfortable and the house is well localisated.

The Almanage in Clogheen provides adults-only accommodation with a fitness centre, a garden and a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.
