Amazing countryside location, rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The cooked Irish breakfast was delicious and the tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom was greatly appreciated on awakening. I needed to leave very early the 2nd day and was provided with a wrapped breakfast to take with me. I would highly recommend staying with Paula and the family, a truly wonderful experience.

Everything. The hotel is beautiful,from the moment you walk in with it's lobby and marble staircase to the grounds and golf course ,the room was huge and lovely with a great view overlooking the golf course. We were there for a birthday and ate in the restaurant,the food so tasty and so was the full Irish breakfast the next morning. I used the pool,steam room and jacuzzi,there is a gym but preferred to go for a gentle walk around the grounds. The staff always smiling and welcoming. .Cant wait to go back again.

First of all, the host is amazing! Bridei is friendly, she wants to let you feel comfortable and welcome. She left breakfast for us with: bottles of water, fruits, juices, bread (she made one by herself), cereals, tea, coffee, eggs… (and she also insisted for us to bring water and fruits for our hiking) The bedroom was not big but was comfortable enough. Really clean and cozy. The bathroom is big and the shower is great! There is a garden table that is relaxing to spend a time there (she also gave a beer to my husband while we were enjoying the relaxing time there). I have just good things to say.

Great location for our personal preference as near family. Super spacious with 3 generous sized rooms and beds. All needs covered in kitchen for cooking, cleaning, laundry and even baking if you want to. Plenty of bedding and towels provided. There was even shampoo / shower gel / hand-wash provided. Access to a washing machine also a god send! Its a big cottage and can take a while to heat but its so warm when it does get there. Has a lovely fire and a starter pack provided. Kept us nice and toasty! Plenty of room for parking too. Hosts even left a large box of chocolates as a welcome gift. Such a lovely touch!

Location is a few miles out of Ballyconnell so definitely need a car to get around, however taxis were very easy to get so no issue with location. The cabin is beautiful, so cosy & homely with plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, cabin was warm and clean and the host was so friendly and helpful. The scenery around is beautiful too, overlooking the water and so peaceful.
