Amazing location, and really tucked away from anyone else, really comfortable beds, lots of facilities, with washer and dryer I was able to clean all my clothes on our last day in Iceland so got back home with clean clothes. Also was able to rise my car with the hose in the facility room. Cooked a full dinner on the hob and oven and both clean and worked well. The hot tub was nice and warm (bit too warm) but we didn’t follow the instructions on the wall to remove the lid as soon as you arrive to cool down, totally our fault but just a FYI for anyone else coming in.

The food at the restaurant was incredible and the breakfast buffet was also a great variety. Having all the animals roaming around was lovely Room was nice and clean, black out blinds for the 24/7 daylight summer days Perfect location for exploring snaesfells peninsula

In the midle of a lava field! Very nice area. Walking distance to the top of a volcano crater. Very nice, but basic room. Nice brekfast!

Lovely remote cabin on a horses breeding farm, great for the dark nights Aurora sighting. The cabin was warm and very comfortable and had everything we needed! Parking right outside your door. We gad a lovely chat with the farmer who showed us around the stables. All their horses were so beautiful and it was so lovely to meet them properly. Would certainly stay again if and when we are back in Iceland.

As we were arriving on Christmas Day (no supermarkets or restaurants open), the owners were very helpful in recommending alternatives and even offered to get some basics in advance of our arrival. In the end, we brought food from abroad but the thought was really nice. The horses (got to pat after building some trust) and dogs are beautiful!
