Everything was just wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and the house itself is warm and comfortable. The hot tubs were an absolute highlight – lying there at night under the starry sky was unforgettable. Nearby you can enjoy a beautiful view and a small waterfall. And if you walk up to the stone garden, you might even catch the Northern Lights.

Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel.

The whole place is not just a farm with cabins, it's a complex with a wonderful view to a waterfall, a walking path with trolls histories, a restaurant and hot tubs for guests. The cabins are very cute, ours in particular was super cozy and warm. We had all that we needed. The check in was super easy and the woman at the front desk was super kind to us.

We liked everything about this place. The staff was super friendly and provided a great service. There was no vegetarian option on the menu for dinner, but the chef made a vegetarian dish from scratch and it was absolutely delicious! The rest of the dinner was also fantastic. Also, after dinner we went to the hot tub outside and we were lucky enough to see very strong northern lights! The breakfast selection was also very good.

We loved everything about the house. It was clean, spatious, well furnished and beautifully decorated. The beds were great and the rooms could be darkened for a comfortable night's rest. The surroundings of the house are amazing. It is has a tranquil atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy the view of the horses and mountains in the distance. The greenhouse is simply magical and the hot tub is definitely the cherry on top.
