A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark. Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night. The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals. Very nice place to stay in the west of Iceland. Quiet, spacious house, tidy, modern. The outside area is fenced it offers a nice little playground.

Beautiful hotel, cozy farmstyle, with good opportunities to see northern lights. For the hardy, a nearby river with an excellent bay. Very friendly and nice staff. Tasty standard breakfast.

The cabin‘s position is very secluded, and lies in the countryside in the Borgarnes region. It is well equipped and there are lots of things to see and to do in the area around; it is also a perfect stop after arrival and before traveling north or westwards. The private hot tub is a huge plus, it is easy to handle and comes with a perfect views of the night sky - and northern lights if it’s the right time of year! Due to extreme cold one water pipe froze during my stay - and the hosts directly reacted and solved the issue - wonderful friendly service, thanks again!

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Very kind, friendly and helpful host who lives in a house on the same site (with a very friendly and fluffy dog). Will definitely stay again.
