This was by far our favorite stay in Iceland. Exceptionally clean room and bathroom. Everything is new, cozy decor. Since we were staying 2 nights, we even managed to do our laundry. Definitely recommend and would book again.

Hostels are not my thing. Truly. But this was a huge exeption to that: me and all my family really loved it. So clean and nicely decorated, so tranquil, so good smelling soap everywhere, such a fantastic kitchen and coocking utensils in it, good coffee from the machine, and practical access to rooms keylessly. Would go back any day! Location from the nearest village was of course quite distant, but when travelling by own car, it does not mean anything. Strong recommendation!

Quiet location close to egilstadir. Coffee available at the hostel common room that is part of the same thing. We had the apartment with 4 bedrooms and a large living room.
