Hotels with Parking in Þórshöfn

Loved the huge bathtub we had in our room Siggi, Hildur and their son were wonderful hosts. The property was absolutely beautiful and we were one of only 2 couples staying with them at the time. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and Hildur bakes her own delicious bread. The night we arrived we were able to use the kitchen to make our dinner as the options in the nearby area were limited. If you are travelling to this part of Iceland, we highly recommend staying here.

First of all, I did not spend the night in the Cave. Because of road closures, some people had to stay one more night in the Cave. So I got upgraded to one their house by the sea, the Þórshamar guesthouse. That was hand down my BEST stay of this whole winter trip! I got the whole tiny/cute house with a terrace by the sea and a veranda, just for me! Everything was comfy, well thought, well equipped and well decorated. Fridge was filled with food for the breakfast, complimentary coffee/tea... You even have a great bluetooth loudspeaker, a TV equipped with an AppleTV, with Netflix, etc. The rooms was upstairs and the beds were extremely comfy and from high-quality brands, which was a really nice suprise. I had one of my best sleep there... Also, the owner is also very kind, she works at the gas station. I really regret not having been able to spend another night there, but I will definitely come back to that remote lovely little town!

Cozy atmosphere, clean, functional kitchen, beautiful and inspirational common/relaxing area, very friendly and helpful Staff. Shall definitely come and stay again in the future.

Magical wooden house not far from the coast, incredible views from the windows. It was windy and raining when we were there, making it an even more special experience. It has everything you could need.
