Azumi, the owner of Kochi-no-ya presented our 2 familes a great comfort where we could stay safe in the first trip to Kochi prefecture. Even during the Japanese high season, she was kind and considerate enough to help reserve the bus transport and nice local restaurant that serves oishii tataki and draft beer:) She didn't even hesitate to introduce nice local people and farmers and other valued informations. We already started dreaming to come back to this beautiful Aki city again to make a friendship with such a nice and sincere people who truly have their affection and pride in their home town and their lovely nature. This is a very stylish and comfortable place to stay. The beautiful old building has been renovated with lots of cool new features. Junos has simple traditional rooms, a beautiful bath area and a wonderful shared lounge space for relaxing. There’s no food available but they provided great recommendations for local restaurants.

The room is amazing! The ocean view it’s just something you don’t expect and it’s beautiful. Beds were so comfortable. We four slept really good. The owner helped us with everything we need it and more. He is really nice and give us great recommendations of where to eat, and help us also with the next reservations. The shower was the best shower I had in Japan. Totally valued to stay here.

Fantastic layout and view and was great having the pool to look out over the ocean. We had a car so was easy to get to and Seaside House cafe 100m away with great view again
