The host took great care to ensure that the room was clean and comfortable for us during our stay. Though it was very cold ( 4 degrees) and raining outside, we felt quickly warmed up his hospitality as well as the fireplace placed at the entrance of the building. There was also an air conditioning unit to heat up the air plus floor heating inside our room. The facilities inside helped to keep my teenagers happily occupied the entire evening as we chose to stay indoor due to the rain. Highly recommend this place if you are driving.

The host is really helpful. He helped us a lot during the time I stay there. Luckily, the weather is sunny so I can have stunning view of the Fuji mountain. The house is clean and warm. I’m happy to meet nice people at this guest house. Remember to bring warm jacket because it’s really cold outside at night, but inside the house is warm.

First, about the owners: my rental broke down just as I reached the property. They helped me by calling the rental company, then the insurance company, then the tow truck company. I don't speak a word of Japanese and I couldn't get this done without them. That lead me to trying to find a way back. They spent 7 to 8 hours helping me find my route! It's a complicated route that I had (going to kyoto) and they walked me through all of it. They are savvy, know bus routes, and will lend you a hand if need be. Now the property: amazing!! Next to the lake, plenty of parking, clean throughout, cloae to moint fuji. Heated floors were amazing (especially in winte)r. Common areas are functional, and they provide everything you need to make it feel like home. They showed us how to prepare our market bought meals (market is just around the corner). The house is absolutely beautiful. Chances are, you will meet like minded, mature travellers like we did. This was not a frat house. Guests were mature, from all around the world, and I had a great time conversating with the few small groups I came across. The hosts stayed up with us, we all had drinks in the common area, and had good conversation. 10 out of 10, I would recommend it again. I don't usually write lengthy reviews but this review is easily, we'll deserved.

We have visited the facility already for the second time, and enjoyed every moment there. Fascinating service, very comfortable rooms, exceptional dinner, very friendly staff. The view of Mt. Fuji directly from the bed is amazing. Sauna and jacuzzi in the room so convenient.

I would recommend anyone to stay at this guesthouse, the house itself is wonderful, the bedroom’s are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and the jet bath is an added bonus. The location is amazing with so much to do around that area, lots of hikes and places to cycle and enjoy the scenery. The hosts are amazing and couldn’t do enough for me, they really went above and beyond. I hope to come back in the future and stay here again. Thank you so much for everything.

Close to the lake, can see some swam and duck nearby too. Our room can see the Mt. Fuji from the window. Friendly staff. Clean and large room. We drive car to the hotel, so have free parking lot, just beside the hotel.

Everything was good - decent size rooms, great location - great view on Mt. Fuji and lake, free parking, good breakfast for recent price, rooms very clean, have laundry corner! Staff friendly, all good!

Super friendly hostess, sweet cats, great location with view on Fuji-San. Free parking place and on 1h30 min from Tokyo by car. Fantastic breakfast, everything made with care and attention! Great airco. Go there!

Very warm and helpful owner. House exterior looks exactly like in the photo. Quiet and forested location where houses are far apart and no shops around, which means having a car is more convenient. With a car, easy to explore other Fuji lakes and sight-seeing spots in Fuji Five Lakes area. Ample free parking. Dining area is spacious, free flow of hot and cold water, with toaster and crockery. Room has aircon/heater that works well. Comfortable bed and pillow.
