The Hideout Koh Rong just opened, and I wanted to share how wonderful our stay was! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming—they truly made us feel like family. They went above and beyond by arranging scooter rentals and a boat trip for us, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. The bungalows are a little uphill, which is actually perfect—the village can be noisy, so being slightly elevated makes it more peaceful while still keeping everything within easy walking distance. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s also a cozy little bar on-site with great drinks, making it a lovely place to relax in the evenings. Overall, we had such a great experience here and would absolutely recommend staying at The Hideout!

Brand new hostel. New facilities, very clean and great location, especially if you want to go to the NESTival but still want a good night's sleep! Everything has been thought of. I got a towel here (hostels in Cambodia don't usually provide this) and a key for the locker has also been given so you don't need to bring or use your own. David really looked after me - I arrived having been very sick that morning and he made sure I was comfortable and fed. The AC in the rooms was bliss and the showers were powerful. Wonderful people here 🙂

After staying 100+ nights in hotels and guest houses the past years, i’d say this is the best staff I’ve ever experienced. They’ve only had the place for a couple of months, but felt like they had been doing this for years. Chill vibe with bar in first floor and smoking terrace/lounge + rooms on the second floor. Amazing view. They only had the budget room available when i booked, but i didnt miss anything. 1 minute from pier and beach. I probably had 100 questions for the staff, but they were never in a rush and i dont even know how to describe the hospitality. 10/10.

This hotel is perfectly located in a stunning setting. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, the private beach is beautiful, and the pool is fantastic. It's also very convenient to rent a scooter or arrange transport directly from the hotel. The Hideout Koh Rong just opened, and I wanted to share how wonderful our stay was! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming—they truly made us feel like family. They went above and beyond by arranging scooter rentals and a boat trip for us, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. Brand new hostel. New facilities, very clean and great location, especially if you want to go to the NESTival but still want a good night's sleep! Everything has been thought of. I got a towel here (hostels in Cambodia don't usually provide this) and a key for the locker has also been given so you don't need to bring or use your own. David really looked after me - I arrived having been very sick that morning and he made sure I was comfortable and fed. The AC in the rooms was bliss and the showers were powerful. After staying 100+ nights in hotels and guest houses the past years, i’d say this is the best staff I’ve ever experienced. They’ve only had the place for a couple of months, but felt like they had been doing this for years. Chill vibe with bar in first floor and smoking terrace/lounge + rooms on the second floor. Amazing view. They only had the budget room available when i booked, but i didnt miss anything. 1 minute from pier and beach. I probably had 100 questions for the staff, but they were never in a rush and i dont even know how to describe the hospitality. 10/10.
