Wow this place is simply outstanding! We stayed here for two nights and we enjoyed our time a lot! Sadly not longer. Everything was well organized from the check-in to check-out. Ahu Bay is one of those places that instantly make you feel like home!The Staff working at Ahu Bay is doing an exceptional job! For example they did bring fresh water all the time when we were chilling at the pool or eating something. Talking about food, the food was very delicious 😍 We had dinner and breakfast here and we liked it a lot! You should definitely try it out and also try the good cocktails they have 🍹The Infinity Pool with the stunning ocean views was our highlight! We really enjoyed relaxing there! Sadly we were a bit unlucky with the weather but we made the best out of it. The room was really nicely designed and had everything we needed! The bed was so comfortable!Everyone working here was so kind and friendly from the first moment till the last good bye. They even gave us a little gift and we could still use the pool after the checkout! Overall the experience here was exceptional and we will come back for sure! Hopefully soon, thanks for everything 😊☀️😎🇱🇰

The overall atmosphere at this place was amazing. This is a home outside home. Massages were perfect, evening drinks and dinners on the beach, the local dog always guarding our doorstep during the night and many more wonderful memories of our stay. Barbara and all the staff were so helpful, welcoming and kind. You go to sleep with the sound of the waves and when you close your eyes you are looking forward for their wonderful breakfast :) We will definitely visit again next time we come to Sri Lanka.

The room was nice,Clean and included a balcony with a stunning sea view, which made my mornings extra special. The hotel’s location was also a big plus since it was close to town, making it easy to explore. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options, and I appreciated the friendly staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. - Nice room with AC - Hot water (not so common in Sri Lanka) - Located next to the sea, two beautiful beaches close by (sunbeds provided) - One beach is a turtle nesting side - we were lucky and saw a turtle coming to the shore in the evening - Village is quiet with not many tourists - Property has a restaurant, they prepared us dinner on the beach for no additional price - Nice breakfast - Turtle sanctuary near by (we recommend Galbokka Sea Turtle Conservation where you can pet baby turtles) - Extremely lovely manager with a good sense of humour who did everything to make us feel welcome. Would definitely come back.

Thank you Dinesh for a pleasant stay, even though I didn't use all your services, I believe they are perfect. The food was incredible, I hope I can cook a curry like you had someday. But it will probably be better when I come again.. :) The terrace has a beautiful view, the beautiful quiet beach is a few minutes walk away, the beautiful viewpoint is also a short walk. Overall, Ahungalle is a very nice and authentic. If you are looking for a quiet place and a very homely atmosphere, this is the right place.

Villa 42 is, in short a hidden gem. For anyone looking for comfort, privacy and wonderful hospitality they won't get any better than this lovely villa just half a mile or so from gorgeous (mostly empty) beaches and several decent restaurants (ask Siri for recommendations). Siri will provide his pampered guests with the best of breakfasts adapting tp personal taste (Sri Lankan style or to more western taste). Siri's well maintained swimming pool will be your refreshing reward after a few hours of Sri Lankan heat.

By far the best place to stay in Sri Lanka! The rooms were very clean and the whole cottage was well care taken. Air conditioner was good and the location few minutes from the beach and the stores was super. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt welcome. The food they served in the cottage was amazing! The tastiest food we ate on out trip to Sri Lanka!
