A nice big room with a comfortable bed and views out over the outskirts of the town and onto the tea plantations. There's also a common area with sofa and dining table. Breakfast that was included in the room price was good typical Sri Lankan. I also had an evening meal on both nights which was ok and saved me going into town but wasn't great if I'm honest. Location is around 15 minutes walk to Lovers Leap waterfall. And there's a bus stop a few minutes walk away where buses are every few minutes and cost 35 rupees in to the town centre.

This is the best place we have been in Sri Lanka. In terms of value for money, service and amenities. Which we noticed is that they are attention to details in every aspect. We really felt like home . We had dinner at Appleton, where I was super surprised with their reasonable price. Which’s the half of price we spent for lunch in Nuwaraeliya city center. Few things you should know when you travel Nuwara eliya. If you travel by your own vehicle there is no better place than this. This located between Nanuoya railway station and Nuwarael iya town. From the Appleton Villa to Nuwareliya town is exactly 5.9 Km which is 15 min to city center. What make you feel like as far is when the driver doesn’t know the road or else some Tuk Tuk driver want to charge extra that is why. Always take advise from the staff then you will be saved. Nuwara eliya itself is not a place to stay more than 2 days specially raining time. Overall we are quite happy with star class services.

Beautiful building in a fabulous location. Chalana was very kind and courteous. Would recommend this property. Spotlessly clean, and comfortable bed. Large room and bathroom. Bit of a hike to get to the property, though it is close to town. The pay off is the amazing view. They don't provide breakfast, but there is full access to the kitchen so you can self cater.

Our stay was perfect. The host was super friendly and welcoming. We felt really comfortable. He gave us good advice on what to do in the area and I walked to the Lovers Leap waterfall the next morning (you can reach it quickly from the accommodation). Breakfast was huge and very good. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Thank you for the nice stay!
