I was given a very warm welcome by the owner of the property and the staff. Owner very knowledgeable about wildlife in Sri Lanka, gave me excellent advice to plan my trips. Nice setup, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Had tasty Sri Lankan meals prepared to my choice. All in all had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

The cabanas are super unique and right on the beach. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and a tasty breakfast is amazing. Just a short walk down the beach there’s a surf spot with restaurants and board rentals. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for something a bit different and really special. Would definitely recommend! There’s a bus going to Panama from Arugam Bay and the owner of the property helped me to get a tuktuk taxi to the Cabana, so it was no problem that I don’t have a vehicle.

Beautiful area right on the beach, wonderful cabanas, very nice staff! The bed is really comfortable. The location is a bit remote from the main street, but easily reachable by bike. I truly enjoyed my stay, even extended it a bit. Wishing the best!

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Sand Dunes is located on an amazing huge wild beach, and the only thing you hear are mighty waves crashing with a mesmerising rumbling sound. Loved it so bad. Also, many trees so shady most of the time, the common area is lively in the morning, which is the best time to meet fellow travellers and make connections.

Absolutely incredible stay! We only stayed at the Rilu Relxa Villa in Arugam Bay for one night, but it was enough to completely fall in love with the place. Everything was perfect: from the beautiful setting to the peaceful vibe there. The villa was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Also the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing. Even though our stay was short, we are already planning to come back. This place is a true gem. highly recommended for anyone visiting Arugam Bay. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay! 😊
