If you’re looking for a place close to Kandy but away from the chaos, Mountain Bliss Villa is a perfect choice. It’s located just south of the city, in a much calmer area, while still having shops and local food places within walking distance. What really stood out was the stunning view. From our room, the balcony, and the spacious terrace attached to it, we had an incredible panorama. We chose to have both dinner and breakfast on the terrace, which made the stay feel extra special. The host goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and is genuinely kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything you might need. All in all, this place offers remarkable value for money. The quality, comfort, and hospitality you receive for the price are rare to find. We would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are beautiful as shown in the pictures, offering spacious layouts with large balconies and comfortable bathrooms that offer great value for money. The soothing lighting setup enhances relaxation, and the common areas are well monitored with CCTV for added security. The villa's location is perfect, right in the heart of popular attractions. In addition, the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

We visited Peradeniya for working at university We stayed at hanthana view for two nights. Really clean room, warm water. Dinner was great. She cooked vegan meal. We don't what we can do in Peradeniya, she told us about the nice temple around. She gave us an Adapter for charging our ringphones. An in the evening by dinner, we had a nice conversation. It a bit like coming home. Thank you so much

Clean, spacious house and pool terrace, in a quiet area, not too far from the green university campus and Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Very good and large Breakfast and Dinner as to my wishes. Manager Siran was courteous in any way and especially made lots of phonecalls to fullfill my wish for a train ticket despite trains were booked out for the next weeks.

Exceeded very expectation. A beautiful place to be, very clean and really central (without any street noise). The food was delicious, service extremely attentive and caring, even offered espresso coffee at breakfast without additional charge. An incredible view and a staff to match! The hotel may seem a bit austere at first, with a few small shortcomings (for example, a reading lamp by each bed would be nice), but nothing essential. The staff and service are excellent, and the manager is very involved — he asks for feedback every day and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort. Although the hotel is a little farther from the city, the distance is more than compensated by the stunning view, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Madu’s cooking! He’s an excellent chef — the beef is delicious (even if it’s not Argentinian), and the soup, his specialty, is outstanding. I doubt I’ll ever return to Kandy, but if I do, this is definitely where I’ll stay again.
