This charming apartment was spotlessly clean throughout, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable & the shower was powerful with constant hot water. It was in a separate building to the house that belongs to the family & is in a lovely large peaceful garden very near the main square & bus stop in Merkine. The family are helpful & kind & some members speak English.

Everything exceeded my expectations, especially with the low price. The room is huge, the natural light floods in from windows & skylights and the kitchen is grand! The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, a true joy staying at their peaceful private guesthouse. This is an excellent place to stay and do multiple day trips exploring the region. amazing place. the place is perfect for a getaway to the nature. the place is in the middle of nowhere and that makes it amazing. both private sauna and private jacuzzi make it even better. the only thing to notice is that there is no electricity (which also kind of makes it special)

Nicest place in town if you don’t want to be in the huge spa hotels but something smaller and cosier. No issue with street noise or parking like some commenters experienced. The room was spotless clean and definitely didn’t feel old or tired in any way. Full minibar was nice, tv has TVP Info, TVP Wilno. Auto check in intuitive and easy. Close to everything within easy walking distance.
