Studio 157 is in a beautiful location overlooking the canal in Kampen, it was easy to drop off our luggage and park locally a few minutes walk away. Lovely large, modern, bright & sunny studio, really comfortable bed, good facilities in the kitchen area. The shower room was a great size, the shower huge. The hosts were lovely, they live on the top two floors above the Studio, do read their folder, its beautifully written and its obvious Iris & Lukas love living in Kampen. You can see why, we thought we would stay one night and not visit the city, but after wandering round on the first evening we fell in love with Kampen and spent the whole day there the next day. It’s very chilled, with incredible historic buildings, lovely shops and bars.

Everything was great! Marleen met me and gave me the keys. She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. There were some complementary snacks: sugar-glazed almonds and two cartons with fruit juice. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and had everything (a fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes (which were very om point, considering the fact the weather was very cold for the end of May, and it was a bit chilly in the evenings), a fridge with a freezer, a hair drier etc.) The neighbourhood is very safe (well, Urk IS a very safe city in general), there are two bakeries, a supermarket, a sweets store and a slaughter shop next door. The beach is a few minutes away by foot.

Very nice location, in the middle of Dutch countryside, perfect to unwind and relax, safe and very clean, available parking spots, the property is nicely designed and the room is spacious, clean, with comfortable bed and huge bath. Besides the property there are a couple of cute little towns with amazing scenery and world class restaurants. The hosts are very friendly ans welcoming and the breakfast was out of the world! We received a very warm welcome and got a detailed explanation of the room right away. Breakfast was excellent – especially the fact that you can get an egg cooked exactly the way you like every day. The location is decent for Defqon, and Zwolle train station is super easy to reach. The hotel is located right by the shopping street, which is perfect for grabbing a snack or doing some shopping. We also really enjoyed the beautiful koi pond in the garden, which we admired every day because we love fish. Highly recommended for Defqon visitors! Definitely use the taxi driver recommended by the host – that was a real insider tip!
