Rural location. Loved the animals around and watching their antics. House had real character, a traditional thatched house. Lot of space. Excellent shower. Induction hob. Space in cupboards for our food. Excellent network of cycling routes. Easy access to nearby town by bike. 4km away. Very friendly hosts.

The owners were kind and welcoming, and they did everything they could to please us and help us with anything we needed — even offering to drive us with their own car since we didn’t have transportation. We only booked Nest B&B for one night while visiting Friesland for a couple of days, but looking back, we really should have stayed longer to enjoy the amazing wellness facilities. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we arrived, I felt totally at ease — like we’d discovered a little oasis of calm and comfort. The house is absolutely beautiful, blending old charm with modern design. The use of wood and steel throughout gives it a really stylish yet cozy feel. Our room was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and the beds were super comfortable — we slept like a dream. Make sure to book the breakfast! It was incredible: fresh, local, and clearly prepared with a lot of care and passion. Mathijs, the owner, is a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about health and well-being. He goes out of his way to make sure your stay is as pleasant and relaxing as possible. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a personal touch, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back — next time for longer!

The facilities were top notch, with plenty of room in washrooms toilets and showers. Lots of hooks to hang items of clothing/towels etc. kitchen area was perfect. I had the trekkershut, which backed onto a horses field, the young horses, about 15 or so, were running and playing like kids, it was brilliant to watch.
