Beautiful retreat on the hillside about Phewa Lake and Lakeside Pokhara. We visited during the calmer part of the season with fewer guests and were treated in the best way by the staff. They provided a great support when my fiancé turned ill and were keen on making sure that she was recovering.

Peace Dragon Lodge is on a hill range overlooking Rani Ban and Phewa Lake near the Peace Pagoda. When the sky is clear, you can have an unrestricted view of the Annapurna mountain range and see its reflection in the waters of Phewa Lake. The property is responsive. Their food was delicious. The lodge is on a trekking trail that circles the lake. Mr Dinesh and his family were very hospitable. My wife and I are definitely coming back here.

The place is tidy and clean, with a young and dynamic atmosphere. Breakfast is included and is quite nice. I highly recommend the Bunk Bed Dormitory Room—the room is air-conditioned, the bed is comfortable, and the curtain provides privacy. The entire staff is really friendly and welcoming, especially the two guys who manage the place—Anish and Anup. They assist with everything you need and address any issue that arises. A good place to stay after finishing my trekking. The location was perfect, a quiet side street and very close to the city center. The quietness at night helped me sleep really well. Also really enjoyed the hot shower and comfortable beds. The owner was helpful in getting me bus tickets to Pokhara and a taxi to the bus station.

Santoshi Guest House is the BEST place you could ever stay in Pokhara. It is amazingly well located, impeccably clean, well maintained, quiet day and night, well equipped, and safe at all times. You will soon discover that the owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people you'll ever meet, making you feel right at home. You will also have many opportunities to meet new people, as the owner will suggest various activities and be there to assist you. It is both a comfortable place and a social hub. I am very happy and grateful to have spent more than a month in this amazing guest house. I look forward to returning, as it now feels like my second home :)
