Everything was excellent, beautiful new hotel right across from Auckland airport, breakfasts were amazing everything you could want, rooms big bright and airy, when arriving at hotel at 3.30 in the morning, we asked for an early check in and were given our room key at 4am amazing, all the staff were lovely and very helpful especially young Benjiman who got us a coffee and a bite to eat, Also Martin who could not be more helpful and kind, it was that good we booked another 2 nights before our return flight to uk

We stayed in a lot of 4 star and 5 star hotels in our month long stay in NZ and this hotel was undoubtedly the best on all criteria that count. Perfect location, right in the heart of the Viaduct. Within walking distance of a full range of bars and restaurants. Even with the location, it was so quiet you could have been in the middle of the suburbs. The beds were comfortable and the robes had a luxury feel. The bath was huge and a real treat. An eclectic range of vinyl records were available to listen to.

The staff - friendly and helpful. The view from our room of the Auckland waterfront was jaw-dropping. The sommelier in the bar was really helpful in making sure we got a wine that was exactly to our tastes. We were happy to find it was a short stroll to the Australian Maritime museum.
