The location is incredibly beautiful and so quiet. The room and bathroom were very spacious. We really enjoyed our one-night stay with them and would recommend this to everyone who's traveling from the south of Portugal to Lisbon or up north. This is the perfect stop on the countryside.

We loved our stay at this place! It’s perfect for families, with plenty of things for kids to play with and enjoy. The space is big and comfortable — we were able to park one car inside the property and another right in front of the door without any problem. The village where the house is located is very calm and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and kind, always attentive and very nice with us. We highly recommend it, especially for those traveling with children.

The property is in a beautiful farming area inland from the Algarve, The quiet location is perfect for a tranquil rest while travelling or as a base for exploring the area. The facilities are very good and the included breakfast was excellent. Amazing value and I hope to be back again soon.

If this rural accommodation had a restaurant, it would be classed as a 5* Hotel. From the moment of our arrival, our hosts did everything to make us feel welcome and at ease. The bedroom/ bathroom was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean; the grounds and swimming pool were well maintained. Parking on the property is convenient and secure. (our motorcycle was garaged). Breakfast was excellent and exceeded all our expectations. It is very highly recommended.

The place is full of character. We were the only residents on the night we visited so we had the whole house to ourselves. Lots of drinks to choose from which you can just pay for before you leave.

Vila Valmonte B&B is set in Ferreira do Alentejo and features a saltwater pool and pool views. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.

In short: fantastic stay. But Fonneke&Theo B&B deserves more words. The structure is in the countryside, not far from Ferreira do Alentejo, but it’s an island of cork oaks, palms, figs, orange trees. The nature is lavish. Our room was overlooking the pool, a much needed and refreshing asset of this structure. It was spacious, furnished with taste and perfectly equipped, with a mini-fridge, coffee machine and water. A selection of wines is available for you to taste, maybe on the private veranda right outside the full-wall window. Everything is quiet and lovely here, the only sounds you’ll hear are the sounds of nature. Let’s talk about breakfast: probably the best Ever tried, all prepared dayly by your hosts. See picture. Theo is going to be a great support for your trip, always ready to suggest restaurants, activities and Places to see. A precious and much appreciated help. We left this morning and we miss Fonneke&Theo already!
