There is a large open area behind the hotel that is perfect for dog walking. Liked the history of an old hotel. There was never a long wait for the one elevator to take us up to our floor. The parking lot was full on Friday night but it looks like that problem will be solved with the new lot on the side is finished. Also we had our dog with us and being pet friendly was great. The breakfast was good, but hot food alternated daily between scrambled eggs and biscuit& gravy. We stayed 6 nights, and it became somewhat monotonous. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Large comfortable gathering room for breakfast or enjoying comfortable seating and view of the mountains to the east. The breakfast was a step above the included ones we’d had during the previous week at other locations; variety of fresh fruit, cheese in the scrambled eggs.
