The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.

We stayed at 7 different places this trip and we think this was the best breakfast provided, beating out 5 star hotels. The location is fantastic overlooking the Gorica neighbourhood and an easy walk to Berat Castle. It is rustic and may not be everyone’s taste or style but we loved it!
