Situated a 4-minute walk from a lake and offering lake views from all units, Appartements Vacances Saars 33 features free WiFi, a garden and a terrace. The location of the apartment was excellent, close to several bus stations and just a 10-minute walk to the university. The best part was the amazing view of the lake. Having a well-stocked kitchen is a big plus for a relatively expensive place like Neuchatel. The price of the apartment was also very low compared to almost all the hotels. The nice couple who manages the property were very kind, despite the language barrier. They checked me in despite coming in late at night.

She asked us what we preferred for breakfast and she made sure everything was prepared. Very nice coffee, the real one from an Italian-style coffee maker. We will be back if we happen to visit the area in the furure.

The room was fantastic, better and larger than we were expecting. It was very clean with a modern bathroom with walk in shower. The on site restaurant was nice and the guy who served our breakfast was so friendly. The breakfast wasn’t a traditional all you can eat buffet, they bring the food to your table, but we were offered more than we could eat/drink, it was very generous!

However, if you are of a type that appreciates history, subtle details, architectural nuances, and everything that is generally encompassed by one word - "l'ambiance", then Hôtel La Maison du Prussien is definitely a place for you.
