Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Breakfast was prepared always just before we came down . We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

The cabin was in a magical location with an amazing sea view. Two canoes were at our disposal. Beatriz was friendly and caring. The cabin was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!
