He can often be seen waiting on the street for his guests, and greets them by name. This place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The large kitchen is well stocked with what every you need for cooking. There is a supermarket close by. The rooms are large and comfortable, the showers with very hot water, and optic fiber fast wifi! It's on the waterfront and very peaceful to sit outside in the sun room. Coffee is available always, I would return there anytime in in Castro! Thanks Sandro for the great visit. PS its a safe neighborhood but he also has secure parking for my motorcycle Highly recommended

Mi casa chilota se encuentra en Ancud, en la región de Chiloé, cerca de Playa Arena Gruesa, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis. - Breakfast is huge and we ate a lot (Bread, ham, fresh cheese, strawberry, cookies, coffee, guacamole). - The bed was super comfortable and clean. - The shower was hot - Great location All in all, really nothing to complain about

The owner had great advice on where to visit, including a great penguin tour that I took on my last day. The room was also good, with a private bath. The common area was spacious too.

Cabañas y hostal Aurora está a 1,9 km de Playa Sabanilla y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y cocina compartida. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. La casa de Pamela es preciosa, nos sentimos muy cómodos en todo momento, la habitación y las camas son muy agradables. Pamela y su familia estuvieron muy atentos y nos ayudaron a solucionar un problema que tuvimos con el auto, incluso llamaron al vecino por lo que estamos muy agradecidos. Toda la experiencia estuvo increible, gracias!!!

Lovely hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the kitchen - big, homey, and filled with everything you need to cook. The staff wonderful - helpful, patient, and kind! The hostel arranged a penguin tour and kayaking tour for me - both a lot of fun. The hostel is located right across the street from Bus Sur Station so if you are planning to travel here by bus from Castro or Puerto Montt, take Bus Sur! It's alos located just a few blocks from the shore and from many restaurants, supermarket, and cafes.

This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!
