I also rented a bike for 30 rmd.

It was a perfectly organized stay. We messaged the property via booking.com to get a transfer from train station and tours to Longji rice terraces and Li Cruise organized. Everything was duly noted and executed. We were picked up by the driver at the train station (it was a free pick-up included in the price because we stayed for 3 nights). Next day the driver took us to the docks and handed tickets for the Li Cruise. The other day English-speaking driver Peter picked us up and we drove to the Longji rice terraces. Before going to the terraces we cooked a bamboo rice and visited minority village. Also we had one more free day when we arrived, and the receptionist showed us the points of interest to visit in Guilin (lake with Pagoda twin towers, elephant trunk park, etc.). The staff does not speak any English but we were able to communicate fluently via WeChat (there is a built-in translator there), Google translate and other translator apps. So in general we had no communication issues.

Lakeside Inn Guilin Central has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Guilin. The owner David is very helpful he booked all my activities and airport drop off for me and event drop and pick me up from the night cruise. The place is very convenient and I walked to Elephant Hill Park before heading to the airport in the morning. They provided me with late dinner and early breakfast as needed. I really appreciate all he did for me!

Set just about a 5-minute drive from Reed Flute Cave, 2 km from the centre of Guilin City, The Beyond Villa Guilin Boutique Hotel sits close to Taohua River and is surrounded by greenery and silence... Wow! The staff here is very friendly. She loved telling us about all the best local spots. You can really feel the warmth of her service. On our first night there, we didn't want to go out because we were tired after a long day of travel so the staff showed us a demonstration of pouring Chinese tea using the artistic tea set they have. She also gave us some local Chinese desserts so that we could enjoy a quiet night drinking tea and chatting. A very personal experience.

Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The staff is exceptional! Extremely helpful, they made us feel at home! The restaurant is also very good. Very large choice of options (western or Asian) and all were delicious!
