Everyting was perfect. From the cute room with outdoor bathroom to the lovely owners. Before our arrival we ran into roadblocks and arrived at the place at 23.30 hrs. Check in slot had already passed but the owner waited for us. Next day he helped us with our desert trip. They also helped us qith booking transport. We left early in de morning but they already had made us coffee. They made sure that the bus stopped at their place for us to board. Such nice people!

Their kindness and attentiveness are unmatched – they truly go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels special. The property itself is stunning. The rustic yet elegant design perfectly complements the natural beauty of the desert. The pools (yes, plural!) are an oasis of relaxation, and floating in the cool water while surrounded by endless desert landscapes is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. No distractions, just peace, tranquility, and the magic of the desert. The attention to detail, from the pristine cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, speaks volumes about the love and care Lucila and her family pour into this place. It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

Super beautiful place in between grey and red deserts, 5 minute walking to Observatory. A lot of plants, great and spacious chilling area with hammocks, coaches etc, parrots in the trees. Super nice and welcoming stuff, delicious meals. Totally would recommend.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The entire experience was just lovely and I'm definitely coming back if I'll visit Tatacoa again. Would definitely recommend!
