We have been everywhere in Costa Rica, and this is the very first time our room was spotless and bugless!

We felt very home here and it had everything we needed including a strong AC, a decent restaurant and a pool to cool down. Everyone was really nice and there is so much wildlife around! The property is a family-run business with the family working across reception, food service and other support. The accommodation was great, with individual units air-conditioned on the property. The pool was a great temperature and clean. The property is calm and quiet and the breakfast was great. We easily drove to several activities in the local area within 30-45 minutes, including animal reserves and a chocolate tour, before moving on to La Fortuna. The children loved meeting the water buffalo and had an exceptionally great time.

All the staff were very friendly, the rooms were cosy and the breakfast was tasty. The location of the hotel is also very conveniently close to La Fortuna town centre. We really liked our stay at Hotel Secreto!

San Bosco Inn is located in downtown La Fortuna, so it's easy to move around. Staff were always friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is included, so take advantage of the buffet. If the sky is clear, you will have an amazing view of El Arenal volcano.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... With one small exception, absolutely everything! If you want to stay near Arenal and explore the rainforests around the volcano, this is the place to go and stay. Views are out of this world and accomodations are great. Loved their focus on sustainability and eco-tourism. We stayed for three nights but could easily have spent a week.

Excellent and beautiful place, all was clean, modern, functional, bathroom is beautiful, room very comfy, view from room to the volcano is espectacular. Restaurant and food for breakfast incredible. Hotsprings and also pool well maintained. Loved the happy hour on the wet bar.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. A beautiful property that exceeded our expectations. Value for money. Spacious and well cared for. We drove to the look out point which was worth it (not sure walking in the heat would be worth it.) Very good selection at breakfast.
