Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room with kettle and coffee maker in the small kitennette. Bed was very comfortable. Bedside tables with charging facilities for both plugs and USB. Bathroom was a touch on the small side but adequate for our two nights stay with plenty of towels and toilet papers and shampoo and soap etc. Also had a hair dryer in room. Breakfast was optional with Continental and Rustico( cooked.choices of eggs, bacon, ham, tomatoes and cheese)). With plenty of crusty breads and tasty jams. Staff and owners were very helpful and helped us booked our Tapanti Natinal Park entrance as well as the Irazú volcano entrance. Will definitely come back to the hotel if we are back in this area.

Our stay at Paraiso Quetzal was absolutely amazing! The lodge is surrounded by beautiful cloud forest, offering breathtaking views. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and we even got to see the famous quetzal! In September, it did get a bit chilly at night, but we were perfectly comfortable with the provided heaters and cozy blankets. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy the peace of the mountains, and experience the magic of Costa Rica’s highlands.
