This was our first time traveling to Baños, as part of a decision to explore Ecuador by car and really experience the country. We booked Luna Volcán through Booking.com, and as many travelers know, price alone does not guarantee quality. In Ecuador especially, expensive does not always mean good. This time, the surprise was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Luna Volcán felt like a true Western five star hotel. Not just in price, but in execution. Everything matched. Every detail felt thought through. The location is perfect. The views are stunning. The atmosphere is calm and intentional. The service was excellent. Professional. Subtle. Not forced. Slightly reserved, but appropriate for the level of hotelry and experience. Value for money was accurate. You pay what you would expect to pay for a five star hotel in the Western world, and the service actually matches. That is not a given here. In many places, high prices come with immediate but shallow service. That was not the case here. I was so impressed by the level of organization and consistency that I asked about the ownership. It turns out the hotel was founded by a Swiss and Ecuadorian couple. That explains a lot. You can feel the Swiss clockwork in how the hotel operates. Precise. Reliable. Well managed. This hotel is outstanding. If you plan to visit Baños, even though the property is outside the city, it is absolutely worth it. You gain a level of experience that is rare and memorable.

There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. What can I say? 11/10 score. The kindness of Miriam (and Luchito and Caballito) is unparalleled. I booked one night and staid for almost one month (!). Canelazo by the fireplace, empanadas, pizzas, homemade bread, cakes, bones for my dog Mango (!) and Italian coffee are just a few of the things that Miriam offered for free during my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, there’s parking for a few motorbikes or a camper van, the shared kitchen has all you need, the garden (with view of Tungurahua volcano!) is beautiful and was a great place for Mango to play :). The owners (Julio and his family) were very accommodating and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay in Banos and helped us answer questions about tours. The property has a beautiful lawn, the rooms were clean, showers were hot, daily housekeeping available, and cute dogs! A nice and quiet property only 15 minutes walk from the center of Banos

It's 1 Min walk from the bus terminal, 2 blocks from the main Square and 10min walking from the thermal bath. Next to everything you Need, restaurante, shops, supermarket, Bakery. There are 2 nice big kitchens well furnished, fridge, microwave, space to store your food. They offer anytime free coffee, hot chocolate and different teas. Rooms are big enough, quiet, clean and they make your bed every day! Bathrooms always clean, clean towel with soap and shampoo given every day. The whole team Is absolutely great and Always available to help you with anything! Pamela knows a lot about tours too, they are also a travel agency, the best and cheaper in town! I booked with them rafting and I enjoyed so mucho! I've bene sick and Norma was sooo nice, taking care of me too! Carlos is also a great chill guy! I've stayed here almost 10 days! They have a terrace with pool but accessibile only until 7pm because there are rooms around.. possibility to do your laundry too!

Casa Verde Eco Guest House provides free WiFi throughout the house. John and his mom are the warmth of this house . Their hospitality is second to none. Breakfast was delicious. I really enjoyed the muesli bar with fresh yogurt and fruit. When I declined the cooked egg I was given avocado and cheese. It was a delicious substitute. I loved being next to the river and a short distance from the town. The most beautiful waterfall Silencio is a lovely short walk away from the Casa. I was here at the Casa 9 years ago and it is more incredible and memorable than it was previously.
